Calendula: "The Father of Botany John Gerard (English herbalist, 1545-1607) and Nicholas Culpeper (English physician and Astrologer, 1616-1654) both called the flower a “comforter of the heart and spirits."
Nature's Herbal Bed: With a little care and love you may just find yourself in a well stocked garden. A simple plant like Roman Chamomile (chamaemelum nobile) will calm down your emotional stress and help you let go toxic emotions. The small perennial herb with daisy-like white flowers and feathery pennate leaves will release your anxiety and tension in your solar plexus. The spirit of this daisy-like flower is strong and therapeutically it relieves headaches, toothache, and has a balancing effect on the menstrual cycle. Helpful reducing fluid retention and acts as a gentle antidepressant. The aroma is a sweet lullaby for colicky babies and also helps to reduce fever.
Hibiscus Flowers ~ hibiscus sabdariffa: not only it is a beautiful flower but also the blossoms are helpful to control blood pressure and lower cholesterol levels. The Hibiscus flowers contain high antioxidants and are rich in Vitamin C and amino acids. To drink it as tea will help soothe menstrual cramps, as well calm the nerves. As a exfoliant it complements hydrating skin and makes the skin and scalp healthy.
