"Matter is the most spiritual in the perfume of the plant" ~ Rudolph Steiner

When I was a child each day “Oma” would take me for my daily stroll and together we would indulge the many new discoveries that were growing in the wildlife – in our neighbourhood. There were many wildflowers that were blooming in the month of September in our state of Western Australia. One of the wildflowers that has stayed with me all these years in my mind, was the “Red & Green Kangaroo Paw”. The subtle vibration that existed from this wildfower, was so sensitive energetically it had impact on my "heart chakra". The gentle life force from this plant had awaken the healing pathway to my emotional wellbeing. The bright color's from this tender wildflower; red, orange, and yellow would often get my attention and I would found myself holding the flower in my hand. Gently I close my eyes, and open them again. Embracing the inner-knowing as I allow the color energy flow through my hands. As I breathed in my long deep breaths..... my senses would always intensify to what I was feeling? ~ Listening intuitively and trying to understand the connection I was feeling from this wildflower. I would pay attention not only too the signals that I would experience physically from my body, but also from the messages that were surfacing intuitively from my emotional brain. ~ "Patience, compassion, and healing", were all casual emotional reactions I was experiencing at the time from holding this wildflower. As a child I would often gather the flowers and group them together in color. Today as an clinical Certified Aromatherpist living in America, not much has changed because I still group my essential oils in color. As I do with all my botanicals in my aromatic clinic. The colour energy of red, orange, and yellow is related to your physical energies in your bodies. All three energies can be identified with your organs and physical body centers, as well as apects of thoughts, beliefs and consciousness. The three chakras; base, sacral and plexus are all associated with your adrenals, digestive and repoductive centers. Stimulating all three centers, often a person can experience a profound sense of peace and balance. In Aromatherapy, there are many essential oils that can restore your emotions from life disappointments such as loneliness, frustration, irritability and hurt. The psychological impact is responded synergistically with aromatic molecules. The aroma triggeres memory and spontanously takes shape and effects our emotions, language, and feelings in the echo of our brain. Essential Oils: Marjoram (Origanum marjorana), Bergamot (Citrus aurantium ssp.), Roman Chamomile (Chamaemeleum nobile) and Neroli (Citrus aurantium var.) can all soothe out feelings of sulk, heartache, anger, and moodiness. Yes, I do personally believe aromatic molecules are spiritual in nature, and the more we learn to understand essential oils....., the more we can explain the powerful effects essential oils have on our bodies at molecular level....., and the more we can appreaciate the healing art of each drop from each medicinal plant.
